FOLC

This component of Fit & Friendly is a socialization program for women of all cultures in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood. It is held Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00- 4:00pm in the dining room at 630 Cedar Ave. A volunteer instructor teaches the women conversational English in an informal setting. ESL instructors are resources for the program. Additional partners in this project include Augsburg College, Trinity Lutheran Congregation, Fairview University Medical Center Riverside Emergency Department, Hennepin County Child and Teen Checkups, and individual Cedar Riverside residents.
